September 1974, Gerard Kitchen ONeill veröffentlicht „The Colonization of Space“.
Sommer 2011, in einem kleinen Zimmer in Wien, Österreich. Eine Idee entsteht.

Ist das Leben im Weltall möglich? Ist die Illusion, dass wir eine Kolonie im Weltall erbauen könnten, noch immer Illusion? Wie ist der Stand der Technik heute?
Ich möchte mit diesem Projekt eines näher bringen. STAND HEUTE JA, ES IST MÖGLICH.

Viele Ideen gibt es, die von bedeutenden Wissenschaftlern, Physikern und Mathematikern entstanden sind. Veröffentlich worden sind. Doch kann ein Mensch alleine solch ein ausgeklügeltes Konzept entwickeln? Nein. Und das ist das Ziel dieses Projektes.

Es soll möglich sein, dass jeder Mensch auf dieser Welt seine Idee, Verbesserungsvorschläge und Kritiken einbringen kann, und das zu jedem Teil des Projektes. Diese Informationen sollen für jeden Menschen auf dieser Welt frei zugänglich sein. Denn ich möchte mit diesem Projekt ein Konzept erarbeiten, welches jeder großen Institution auf diesem Planeten ermöglich, seinen Teil beizutragen, ein Leben im Weltall zu ermöglich. Mit Kolonien.

Seit Jahren informieren uns Nachrichten, dass der Planet sich verändert. Treibhauseffekt, Erwärmung der Pole, Artensterben, Ozonlöcher, Naturkatastrophen und Ölteppiche sind einige der Probleme. Wird das ein Ende haben? Oder wird die Welt bald nicht mehr die sein, wie wir sie heute kennen?
Als alter Trekkie kam mir der Gedanke schon oft in den Sinn. Sicherlich vielen von euch. Ein Raumschiff, Leben auf dem Schiff, Arbeiten durchführen, Laufen, Essen. Was alles zu einem Alltag dazugehört. Ob das möglich sein wird? Das waren nur Traumvorstellungen. Doch heute? Der Stand der Technik ist doch seit der Erfindung der Mikrochips enorm gestiegen. Müssten wir nicht bereits in der Lage sein, mit den Wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen, solch ein Projekt zu beginnen? Und wenn nicht jetzt, dann in ein paar Jahren bestimmt.

September 2011, a small room in Vienna, Austria. An Idea is born.

Is it possible to live in space? Is the illusion to build a colony in space, since today an illusion? What are we suspecting about technology today?
Bring it to a point: BASED ON TODAYS TECHNOLOGY, YES, IT IS POSSIBLE.

How many ideas of different proud scientists, physicians and mathematicians has been established and published. But can a project of this size be made by a single human? No. And this is the main target of my project.

It should be possible, that every human on this planet and on this world should be able to share his ideas, reforms and critics for the project. This information has to be accessible and free for all. Build a concept together, where every human and company can take a part and make it possible to live in space. With colonies.

Since years, news telling us the World is in change. Human are trying to control the weather, greenhouse effect, worming poles, out dying animal species, whole in our ozone, nature catastrophes and oil slicks are just a view of problems. Will this have an end? Or should we leave the known way of life?
As an old Trekkie (so called Fan of Star Trek and other space films) I often thought about science fiction in real life. I am sure many of you. A space ship, live on this ship, work, doing fitness, eat and other daily stuff. Could this be real in the future? Of course, only dreams. What’s today? Technology increases since the invention of microchips. Shouldn’t we already be able to start such a project? And if not today, maybe in a few years?

Die Grundidee dieses Projektes sollte sein, dass in naher Zukunft Programme oder Programmteile benötigt werden, um das Leben für Menschen im Weltall zu erleichtern. Der Traum, einmal wirklich im Weltall zu sein, wird bald Realität sein. An diesem Projekt können sich alle Menschen anschließen, die derselben Meinung sind wie ich.
Weltraum Transporter und Weltraumstationen sollten von Computersystemen unterstützt werden. Und das ist das Ziel dieses Projektes. Programmcodes und Strukturen aufzubauen, welche für Weltraum Transporter und Weltraumstationen eingesetzt werden können.
Da ich ein für-Sprecher von Open Source bin, ist mein Ziel hier auch, dass alle Programm-Teile frei zur Verfügung stehen.

Das Projekt ist geplant, mehrere Jahre zu laufen. Daher versuche ich immer wieder, diese Homepage anzupassen. Die erste Erstellung habe ich mit wix.com und dessen Flash-Unterstützung gemacht, um nicht Arbeit in eine eigens programmierte Homepage zu investieren.

Mein Ziel ist es, Programmierer auf der ganzen Welt zu vereinen, und hier Informationen austauschen können, Idee einbringen können und sich vielleicht auch Ideen holen. Quasi eine Kommunikationsplattform :)

Target of this project: Build up program codes and structures, which can be used for space shuttles and stations. I am pro for open source, so should the code and all parts of it be free for all.

The project will run several years. Therefore, I have set up this homepage and will enhance it based on the requirements to work together. The first homepage was made by wix.com and flash. It was made very fast, not to lose time in build up an own homepage.

My personal target is to connect developers all over the world, exchange information’s, know-how and to transport ideas. Like a communication platform. :)

Jahre später entstand die Idee von "Asgardia". Ich identifizierte mich sofort mit dieser Idee und helfe aktuell als Freiwilliger mit.
