I'm a developer, consultant, father, AI tinkerer, and free spirit. For over 15 years I've been moving at the intersection of technology, people, and future ideas.
With my company D.O. Solutions, I support organisations with digital challenges - from SharePoint and process automation to bespoke AI integration.
Besides my work, I love to research, create, travel - and inspire.
Right now, I'm deeply exploring how artificial intelligence can improve education systems in developing countries. I'm active internationally as a speaker and build my own tools like Caroline or the treasure-hunt platform fun-venture.com.
Have a look around - and if something resonates with you, just get in touch.
I'm a human being with curiosity, heart, and a soft spot for unconventional ideas.
Born in 1985 in Vienna, raised in the 10th district - my journey started early: At 4 I had my first Commodore Amiga, at 6 my first PC. Even back then I was fascinated by how a few lines of code could make things happen.
After training as an IT business administrator and early jobs as a radio technician, IT admin, and salesperson, my path led me to a 12+ year career as a consultant and developer at d.velop.
But that was just the beginning:
In 2022 I founded my own company, D.O. Solutions, to walk my own path - somewhere between technology, creativity, and the search for meaning.
I'm a passionate father of a wonderful daughter, love jazz piano, and occasionally play golf when I need to clear my head.
In my spare time, I explore future topics like artificial intelligence, access to education in the Global South, quantum computing - and I like to try things that nobody else dares to touch.
My attitude? Stay open, stay curious - and prefer building over merely reacting.
What I do - and why people call me
I'm a developer, consultant, and bridge-builder between technology and people. With my company D.O. Solutions, I support organisations - from process optimisation to complex software solutions. Key focus areas: SharePoint, d.velop products, .NET, automation, and AI.
Since 2024, I've additionally been working part-time at dox42 as an Evangelist, supporting the further development of solutions around document automation and d.velop integration.
dox42 Evangelist & AIFOD Speaker
Part-time evangelist for document automation and d.velop integration. Speaker at four UN conferences on "AI for Developing Countries" in Vienna and Geneva.
D.O. Solutions Founding
Founding my own company, combining technology, creativity, and the search for meaning. Developing Caroline AI and the fun-venture.com platform.
d.velop Consultant & Developer
Over 12 years of experience as a consultant and developer, specializing in SharePoint, .NET, and process automation for organizations across Europe.
First steps into the tech world
First Commodore Amiga at age 4, first PC at age 6. The foundation for a lifelong passion for technology and code.
Caroline - My AI
What started as an experiment is now a versatile AI prototype for consulting, text generation, and educational applications. Caroline runs locally and in the cloud and is continuously developed - for demos, product ideas, and the AIFOD initiative. The goal is to integrate Caroline as an assisting AI into concrete products and platforms - focusing on education, sustainability, and individual consulting.
fun-venture.com - The Treasure Hunt Platform
Digital scavenger hunts with AI support. On this platform, users can create their own treasure hunts - for birthdays, events, or education. Creative, modular, and ready for the next level. Under the hood runs a PHP backend with agent structure, session management, PDF export, and audit function - a modern web application for playful learning.
3D Printing Projects
From Google displays for restaurants to custom small parts: I use my 3D printer for small orders, prototyping, and spontaneous ideas. Technology you can touch - fast, flexible, and locally produced.
Other Tools & Experiments (selection)
- Backup software, music sorting program, dart scorer, crypto gaming platform
- Bowling tournament planner, screen generator, community websites
- AIFOD tools: form system, dashboard, audit logic for conference projects
Earlier Projects (archive)
Competence City
A central platform to support personnel development and resource planning in companies - focusing on the skills, interests, and goals of employees. The idea: a living digital place where documents, deadlines, tasks, training suggestions, expert networks, and AI-based analyses come together. Although the project didn't take off commercially, it forms the technological and conceptual basis for many of my developments today - especially where knowledge, people, and systems interact.
Values: knowledge networking, future orientation, employee centricity
Asgardia
A forward-looking initiative to found a space nation - with its own constitution, flag, and digital community. I was part of the early community, supported organisational processes, and took part in the ceremonial constitution signing in the Vienna Hofburg. Running for Asgardia Mayor of Vienna was also part of my journey.
Values: vision, community, peaceful cooperation, exploration
World Space Project (book)
A personal exploration of what a world could look like without money, power, corruption, and politics. The project is currently on hold, but its ideas live on - as an inner compass for many of my ideas today. Maybe it will return one day in a new form.
Values: vision, community, peaceful cooperation, exploration
To Note:
Many of my projects were subject to strict confidentiality agreements - which means no logos, no case studies, no pats on the back. I don't work to show off screenshots, but because I enjoy making complex things work.
But what remains is the experience: how to communicate clearly in sensitive environments, even when not everything can be said. How to take responsibility without constantly asking questions. How to remain flexible when requirements change at short notice. If you want to succeed in such projects, you don't need many words - you need trust and reliability. You don't have to know everything - but you should know how to solve problems anyway.
I believe in a world where technology helps distribute opportunity more fairly - especially in the field of education.
With this vision I'm engaged with AIFOD - AI for Developing Countries, an international initiative promoting AI solutions for the Global South. Since 2024 I've been active as a speaker, sponsor, and moderator - aiming to shape educational technologies responsibly and make them globally accessible.

I was again invited as a speaker, this time focusing on education-related AI initiatives. I also joined an international round-table discussion on structural challenges in AI integration in African and Asian states. As a major sponsor, I was able to shape my own side session discussing strategies for local, sustainable AI projects.

Self-organised session on: "Invest in AI in Educational Technology in Developing Countries." I conceived, organised, and moderated this side session - with the goal of bringing together ministries of education, EdTech companies, and NGOs. Topics included:
- Public-private partnership models
- AI integration into national curricula
- Preserving pedagogical values despite digitalisation

I'm convinced: AI can complement teachers, but not replace them - and it must grow together with education systems. My contributions at AIFOD express this conviction.
